Martin Duffy
The instrument which is used to assist participants in their efforts to become reconciled with self and others in the course of this weekend workshop is the Shaman’s Journey.
Shamanism is among humanity’s most ancient traditions for personal healing and for keeping in harmony with other people, with society and with nature.
This basic experiential workshop will introduce participants to some of the core methods and ideas used by shamanic peoples all over the earth for thousands of years to bring healing and wholeness in their lives and the lives of their communities. Through the use of traditional methods of drumming, rattling and dancing, participants will enter a state of consciousness where they will be able to connect with their inner being and free their minds from past thoughts to bring about healing and peace.
The workshop presenter Martin Duffy is Co-Founder and Director of the Transpersonal Centre at Dunderry Park.
Martin is among the most highly qualified and widely experienced teachers and practitioners of this ancient instrument of deep personal, social and planetary healing. Martin has trained and walked among shamans in Europe, South America and Africa and, in addition, is professionally qualified in a range of other psychotherapeutic healing modalities which enrich his approach to the presentation/ direction of his shamanic journey workshops.
Limited to 40 participants.
