Opening the Heart to Heal

Date: Saturday 9th February and Sunday 10th February

Time: 10am – 5 pm

Cost: £20 (grant subsidy applied)

Martin Duffy

This basic experiential workshop will give participants the opportunity to explore some of the core methods and ideas used all over the earth for thousands of years to bring healing and wholeness into the lives of individuals and their communities. It offers a transpersonal (shamanic) approach using traditional methods of drumming, rhythm and dancing. This enables participants to enter a state of consciousness in which they will be able to tap into the capacity for healing and peace which is latent within the core of their own being.

The workshop presenter, Martin Duffy, is Co-Founder and Director of the Transpersonal Centre at Dunderry Park, Navan. Martin is among the most highly qualified and widely experienced teachers and practitioners of this ancient instrument of deep personal, social and planetary healing. In addition to his training and many years’ experience as a psychiatric nurse and Jungian psychotherapist, he has trained and walked among shamans in Europe, South America and Africa – all of which bring a richness to his presentation and facilitation.
