Jim Cogley
Many, if not most of us, have a desire to understand who we are in the light of our family tree. As we uncover our family stories, among other things, we come face to face with pain and loss. Yet somewhere in us we also have an awareness that healing can be brought not just to ourselves, but also to other members of our family.
This Loss and Recovery seminar will explore loss in its many facets and how loss can also be an invitation to wholeness.
While the heart grieves for that which it has lost, the Spirit dances for that which it has found.
Jim Cogley is a psychotherapist and woodturner with nearly thirty years’ experience. Based in the picturesque village of Oylegate in Co. Wexford, his particular interest is that of healing, both personal and intergenerational, and how the past that is unacknowledged can still influence the present. As an artist with wood he presents the age old truths in the form of symbols that speak to the soul. Author of several books in the Wood You Believe series: the Unfolding Self, The Ancestral Self and The Twinless Self.
Note: This is the workshop that was cancelled in October 2012. Special communication is being sent to those who missed out on this workshop at that time. Places are also available for persons who had not signed on for the October workshop.
