A Workshop for Parents and/or Other Concerned Adults

In the course of this workshop Drs Galavan and Murphy will explore the psychology of self harm and suicide among young people. They will help participants understand the reasons why young people think about taking their own lives or hurting themselves and enable participants to consider ways to respond to expressions of suicide and self harm among the young and maybe the not-so-young also as situations arise in daily life.

Dr Eoin Galavan is a Senior Clinical and Counselling Psychologist working in Adult Mental Health services.


Dr Olivia Murphy is a Senior Clinical Psychologist working in the Child and Adolescent Mental Health services.
