Dr Éamon Phoenix

We are thrilled, as we know you will be, that Dr Éamon Phoenix returns to Tara to continue Pathways from a Troubled Past; the final piece on the historical context in which we live our lives on this part of the island of Ireland.

This one-day workshop, which was rescheduled from March 10th, will be a celebration of our rich, shared cultural heritage, incorporating music, song and poetry and will sum up the wide range of topics covered in the course of the weekly seminars and will involve group exploration of key issues raised at the Sessions held on Wednesdays 31st January, 7th, 14th, 21st and 28th February 2018.

Groups will have an opportunity to ponder the central question;

“Can we shape a better and more reconciled society from our difficult past?”

A warm Tara Centre welcome is extended to people of all traditions (or no tradition at all) who wish to explore this vital background to modern Ireland.

No previous knowledge of Irish history is assumed or required.
