Dr Éamon Phoenix
Dr. Éamon Phoenix returns to Tara to continue the Wednesday evening series of interactive Seminars on the historical context in which we live our lives on this part of the island of Ireland. The aim of the workshops is to promote a reconciled society through an informed understanding of our shared history. The theme continues to ask the central question:
Can we shape a better and more reconciled society from our difficult past?
Further details of this series will be advertised in January 2019. A warm Tara Centre welcome is extended to people of all traditions, (and/or no tradition at all), who wish to explore this vital background to modern Ireland. No previous knowledge of Irish history is assumed or required, nor is attendance at any previous events.
“Never doubt that a small group of thoughtful, committed citizens
can change the world; it’s the only thing
that ever has”. – Margaret Mead
Tea & Coffee provided from 7.00pm-7.30pm during Registration
Note: Attendance on all five nights is strongly recommended though not essential.
