Jim Cogley
A professional development day for practising counsellors & Psychotherapists
The Tara Centre is at the forefront of continuing professional development for Counsellors/Psychotherapists. This Autumn, we are pleased to be able to offer this unique opportunity for specialist training to experienced Counsellors/Psychotherapists.
Jim Cogley is a psychotherapist and woodturner with nearly forty years experience. He is one of the pioneers in exploring Family Tree Healing and the effects of twin and sibling loss. His particular interest is that of healing, both personal and intergenerational, and exploring how the past – unacknowledged – can influence our present and create our future. As an artist with wood he presents the age old truths in the form of symbols.
Be among a group of explorers in experiencing this unique CPD Development Day that will be of interest to all who, in a personal and therapeutic capacity, would like to deepen their understanding and help others find their path to freedom.
This Training Workshop will explore:
- Intergeneration healing
- Recognising patterns in families & communities and how to break them
- The Trauma of Twin and Sibling Loss
- Recognition of symptoms
- Cutting of ties
- Hooks for ancestral issues
Registration: 9.15am – 10.00am
Refreshments: Refreshments mid-morning / Lunch provided
“The trauma that befell your ancestors weighs on your heart like lead. Transformation comes when you hear them. They mourn when you carry their burden and rejoice when you receive their gifts.”
