Over the years the phrase ”in the service of healing and peace” has emerged as the most accurate and succinct expression of what the Tara Centre is all about at the heart of the community.
More recently the focus has been further refined by use of the phrase “the soul of healing”.
Among the many factors in the Centre’s development which have contributed to its self-awareness and self-description as articulated above nothing has contributed more fundamentally than the inspirational and transformative seminars and workshops delivered at the Centre by Rosalyn Bruyere and Ken Weintrub.
We are delighted to announce the return of this remarkable duo to the Centre this Spring to deliver yet another seminar under the above title.
This will be a heart chakra seminar which is suited to dedicated healers who have at least a basic knowledge of the chakra system and its energy healing potential.
Speaking on this topic Rosalyn says “loss of conventional avenues of spiritual expression and understanding has left us bereft of the tools and wisdom needed for true heart health…. It’s time for healers to take another look at the amazing potential for healing inherent in a greater understanding of the heart chakra and this energy centre’s potential to transform everything in our life for the better.”
These are sentiments which strongly affirm the Centre’s core vision of being “in the service of healing and peace” with an eye firmly on “the soul of healing” as the compass direction for being faithful to that vision.

The Soul of Healing (Combined Meditation and HECT Intensive)
Date: Saturday 28 January 2012 & Saturday 25 February 2012

Attendance at these one day intensives is open to anyone who has ever followed the beginners meditation programme at this Centre and/or Rosalyn Bruyere and Ken Weintrub’s HECT seminars.
The structure and content of the Intensives are as follows:
• group meditation
• input and discussion on a relevant topic
• chi gong
• HECT healing treatments provided in the context of group meditation
• refreshments as appropriate

It is important to confirm your attendance at Reception not later than 5.00pm on the Wednesday prior to the Intensive.
Practitioner Diploma HECT graduates are especially encouraged to attend, not only for their own benefit but also in the interest of ensuring that treatment delivery continues to be an integral part of the Intensive experience.

The Inner Journey – Deepening the Shamanic Experience

On this workshop you will gather together in a safe and sacred community with like-hearted folk to experientially explore the inner realms of your soul’s landscape.
You will be supported by each other in making contact with the inner healer to help release past hurts and present painful conditions.
Together you will endeavour to expand your consciousness beyond the personal to the Transpersonal entering the world of imagination, fantasy and the dreamtime.
This course will combine lecture, video and experiential exercises as follows:
- mindfulness meditations
- shamanic journeying
- healing circle
- spirit boat journey
- spiritual cinema presentation
- trance dancing
- hemi sync guided imagery/visualisation journey
- group discussion, dialogue and support
The workshop will be facilitated by, Martin Duffy, Co-Founder and Director of the Transpersonal Centre at Dunderry Park, Navan. Martin is among the most highly qualified and widely experienced teachers and practitioners of this ancient instrument of deep personal, social and planetary healing. Martin has trained and walked among shamans in Europe, South America and Africa and, in addition, he is professionally qualified in a range of other psychotherapeutic healing modalities which enrich his approach to the presentation/ direction of his shamanic journey workshops.
