The Soul of Healing (Combined Meditation and HECT Intensive)

Attendance at these one day intensives is open to anyone who has ever followed the beginners meditation programme at this Centre and/or Rosalyn Bruyere and Ken Weintrub’s HECT seminars.
The structure and content of the Intensives are as follows:
• group meditation
• input and discussion on a relevant topic
• chi gong
• HECT healing treatments provided in the context of group meditation
• refreshments as appropriate

It is important to confirm your attendance at Reception not later than 5.00pm on the Wednesday prior to the Intensive.
Practitioner Diploma HECT graduates are especially encouraged to attend, not only for their own benefit but also in the interest of ensuring that treatment delivery continues to be an integral part of the Intensive experience.

Meditation and Christmas Ritual begins in Conference Hall at 3.30pm sharp
“Cuppa” available in Dining Hall between 3.00pm and 3.30pm (Optional)
Christmas Dinner in Dining Hall at 6.15 pm
Celebrations will end at 8pm.

Meditation for Beginners – Meditation and Mindfulness, towards living in ever greater awareness
Meditation at the Tara Centre is offered from a generic perspective based on the belief that its practice can make a significant contribution towards a holistic way of living for persons from any or no religious affiliation. In the delivery of the programme great care is taken to respect each participant’s world view and spiritual orientation.
Cross community membership greatly enriches the experience for all. The programme combines the presentation of some basic theories and an opportunity to practice meditation in a safe, supportive group.
Dates: Monday 3 October 2011 – Monday 21 November 2011 inclusive
(3rd, 10th, 17th, 24th and 31st October and 7th, 14th and 21st November)

These one day intensives are specially designed to initiate and strengthen an integration of the groups who have attended Meditation Intensives and HECT Intensives at the Tara Centre in the past.
The structure and content of the Intensives are informed by the consultation process already carried out for this purpose.

In response to a relentless stream of requests from many of you, Mary and Maura will offer this programme once more on the dates set out below.
As in the past, this beginners programme will be offered from a generic perspective based on the belief that its practice can make a significant contribution towards a holistic way of living for persons from any or no religious affiliation. In the delivery of the programme great care is taken to respect each participant’s world view and spiritual orientation.
