THE COMPASSIONATE INTENTION OF ILLNESS
Dr. Tony Humphreys
More information: Due to the popularity of Dr Humphreys' last programme on 'The Compassionate Intention of Illness' we are delighted to welcome him back to present on this topic, the title of his most recent publication, which he plans to launch at the Centre later this year.
The ethos of the programme will be conducive to participants gaining meaningful insight into the central theme of the book, while engaging interactively with the author whose special gift is to honour the uniqueness of each person and respect the manner in which they wish to explore the material he presents.
The author's other outstanding gift is the gentle grace with which he carries and shares a lifetime of scholarship, professional practice and deep wisdom. Being part of one of his seminars evokes Oliver Goldsmith's time-honoured lines:
the more he spoke, the more the wonder grew that one small head (big heart) could carry all he knew
Come, enjoy the day, deepen your personal journey into the heart of compassion and discover its kinship with illness in your lives.
