RELATIONSHIP, RELATIONSHIP, RELATIONSHIP, THE HEART OF A MATURE NORTHERN IRELAND

Dr. Tony Humphreys

More information: Relationship lies at the heart of wellbeing - in homes, schools, communities, workplaces and churches. The most important relationship is the one that each adult has with self; when this is of the nature where the person takes responsibility for self and for one's own attitudes, values and actions, everybody else benefits. However, when an individual's relationship with self is of a dark nature whereby one hates self or feels deeply insecure, dependent on others, then everybody else is under threat. The reality that needs to be faced - and, particularly, by those in leadership roles, parents, teachers, politicians, clergy, bankers, workplace managers - is that one's interiority totally determines how one operates in the external world.

This seminar will explore:

  • the nature of the relationship with self and with others;
  • the importance of boundaries;
  • the seven best kept secrets about relationships;
  • how communication is the life-blood of well-being;
  • the path to individual maturity.
